Welcome to Bayou Woods Elementary! We are excited to welcome both our returning and new students and families to the Bayou Woods school community. Thank you for entrusting us with the opportunity to educate, inspire, and support your child.

As we embark on a new school year, our mission is to build a legacy of excellence that will positively impact every student who walks through our doors. At Bayou Woods, we are committed to helping each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every student is encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

Our journey with Leader in Me continues to be an integral part of who we are. We believe that every child has unique gifts and talents because everyone has genius. Through leadership opportunities, goal setting, personal responsibility, and the 7 Habits, we empower our students to become confident leaders both inside and outside the classroom.

Equally important is the strong partnership we build with our families. Meaningful relationships between home and school create the foundation for student success. By working together, communicating openly, and supporting one another, we can ensure that every Bayou Woods Gator thrives.
